SOTW: This Is Money
This painting was created by a young boy during one of our very first classes at Butler Hospital, where we got our first glimpse into the power of Paint4Peace™. As the class began the young boy was virtually catatonic with his head down hovering over the canvas. At some point during the class he lifted his head and began to move some paint around with his foam brush. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, this young boy glanced up, cracked a smile, and pointing to what he just created, declared “This is Money!" His participation and enthusiasm the balance of the class was nothing short of magical. This young man's entire being transformed to the disbelief of not only us, but the resident therapist!
